Lead Pastor

Originally from Clearfield, Pennsylvania, Josh has been in full-time ministry since 2005. During that time he has pastored churches in West Chester (OH), Mt. Union (PA), Hanover (PA), Manchester (PA), and York (PA). Josh has been married to Crystal for 19 years and together they have two teenagers, a cat, and a dog. Josh holds a B.A. in Religion from Houghton University, as well as a Masters in Ministry/Organization Leadership and an M.Div. from Portland Seminary.

Nathan Trimmer

Associate Music Ministries for Traditional Worship

Nathan and his wife, Aimee, have been a part of Zion since August 2009.  They have been married for 18 years and have six children.  Over the past 15 years Nathan has served in a variety of roles and currently coordinates music for the sanctuary worship services.  This includes directing the Chancel Choir, Majesty Ringers, Master's Men & Zion Brass ensembles.  He graduated from Penn State University in June 2005 with a B.S. in Music Education.  Nathan also serves as the Service Manager at Main Car Care, an automotive repair facility in East York.

Aimee Trimmer

Associate Music Ministries

Aimee Trimmer is privileged to be wife to Nathan and mom to six amazing kids. She has enjoyed putting her music degree from Penn State University to use, serving in various roles at Zion through the years. Currently assisting with worship music both vocally and instrumentally, Aimee is also passionate about teaching the Bible and leading in Zion's Women's Ministry.

Coordinator of Lay Ministries

June has been an active member at Zion Church since 1997 and she's been on staff since 2013.  As she has served on many different ministry teams over those years, it has allowed her to understand the dynamics of our Zion family and ministries.  Her greatest joy is helping people feel welcomed and that they belong here.  She will do all that she can to help you find your place here in the family of Zion Church where you can grow in your walk with Jesus and with your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Grace Moser

Contemporary Worship Leader

Grace holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a M.Ed Educational Leadership from Penn State University. She grew up playing, singing, and performing in church her entire life and has several years experience as a music teacher in both public and private school settings. Grace enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and her daughters, Elizabeth and Faith, as well as reading, running, and drinking coffee!

Theresa Short

Office Administrator/Financial

Theresa Short has been the Administrative Secretary for Zion UMC since 2017.  In 2019, Theresa added the role of Finance Coordinator for the church to her duties.  Prior to working for Zion, Theresa worked at York College of PA in their continuing education program, as well as an Administrative Assistant for a non-profit organization in Baltimore, MD for over 13 years.  Theresa enjoys spending time with her family.  She has been married to her husband, Gene for over 19 years, and they have two daughters, Emily & Autumn, and three cats.  In her free time, Theresa enjoys traveling, baking, reading, enjoying the beauty of nature, and taking walks.

Jeanne Herman

Director of Rainbow Junction

Jeanne Herman is the Director at Rainbow Junction Child Care Center. A proud graduate of Millersville University and the University of Scranton, she has worked in the field of education since 1990. Jeanne joined Rainbow Junction in 2013 as a teacher and has been the Center Director since 2018. Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

A retired employee of the Malle Press co. spent 42 year’s in production, union leadership and supervision,a longtime Steeler and Yankee fan enjoys weight training Yoga class, long walks and spending time with his wife (Jodi)and their 6 Grandchildren 5 boys and 1 girl.
